Life Coaches help clients gain clarity and empowerment to improve their careers, relationships and lives in general. They may work with clients to:

Wellness Coaches help their clients find the motivation and develop tools to achieve their physical, emotional and/or spiritual health goals. Those goals may include:

  • Mindset shifts
  • Improving daily habits
  • Discovering your true identity and value
  • Gaining confidence and building resilience
  • Calming overwhelm, lowering stress, and avoiding burnout, 
  • Creating a sustainable and thriving work-life balance. 


Together, Life and Wellness Coaching takes on a holistic (body, mind, spirit) approach to helping you reach your goals! 


Coaching and therapy differ in approach and focus, but can be complimentary to one another in helping clients achieve their goals and leading healthy, fulfilling and balanced lives. Generally speaking: 


  • Therapy focuses its approach on healing from the past to the present and on addressing mental health conditions.

 

  • Coaching focuses its approach on moving the client forward from the present to the future and pursuing life goals. 


Many clients have successfully used both services either in tandem or one after the other. 


ANYONE who wants to improve their work and/or personal life and: 

  • Has a vision, a goal or a dream but doesn't yet know how to achieve it
  • Needs clarity on their vision, goals or dreams and help formulating the next steps towards achieving them 
  • Is authentically seeking and willing to explore their goals and take action towards achieving them.



I have completed a rigorous Life and Wellness Coach program and have been trainied and certified through the Canada Coach Academy, which mentors world-class coaches. I am presently a candidate for accreditation by the International Coaching Federation. I am committed to my continuous learning and have several years of experience working with clients to help them achieve their personal and professional life and wellness goals. This experience includes: 


  • A bachelors degree in psychology and certificate in positive psychology. 
  • Over 3 years working as an affiliate coach with BODi (a virtual fitness, nutrition and mindset Program) 
  • Taking annual micro-courses and attending regular learning events in all areas of life and wellness coaching, and
  • Regularly collaborating, sharing, and mentoring with other certified life and wellness coaches across North America. 


In building not one but two successful careers, I have managed teams through numerous challenges and changes, provided strategic advice to executives on people management and culture changes, actively participated as a member of a National Health and Wellness committee supporting wellness in the workplace and worked with numerous busy professionals and working parents both formally and informally, helping them to get unstuck. My numerous professional and life experiences have given me the tools, the drive and the understanding needed to help others reduce stress and overwhelm, avoid burnout, improve their job performance and create a life they love!  


Each coaching session is unique and tailored to your needs. As your coach, I will partner with you in this journey to explore, support, encourage, and challenge your ways of thinking or doing to help you achieve your goals. 


Results vary and depend on the level of effort and authenticity the client brings to each session and uses in implementing agreed-upon next steps.  Some clients may experience results that move them closer to their goals or dream within the first session. Other clients may need a little more time to open up, dig deeper, discover and remove barriers holding them back and to take steps forward towards achieving their goals. 


The frequency of coaching sessions will be discussed and mutually agreed upon between the client and coach prior to contracting and is based on numerous factors. Ultimately, its up to the client. Some clients meet weekly, while others may meet bi-weekly, monthly etc. 


While I primarily work virtually, in-person coaching sessions may at times be accommodated. This should be discussed and mutually agreed upon prior to contracting.
