My Journey to Life Coaching
As a Christ follower, a single mom of two young adults with special needs, and a dedicated professional, I know firsthand the weight of competing priorities. I understand the constant pull on your time and energy—and how hard it can feel just to get through the day, let alone make progress toward personal or professional goals. Despite our best intentions, careful planning, and determination, circumstances beyond our control arise and leave us feeling stuck, disconnected, overwhelmed by decisions, stressed, and sometimes wondering if we are “enough.”
Finding my way forward after divorce was anything but easy. The relentless demands of life, combined with limiting beliefs and self-doubt, eventually took a toll on my health and led to severe burnout. I became unable to work for fifteen months and struggled simply to care for myself and my children.
Talk about a wake-up call.
Through a mix of rock-bottom moments, hard-won victories, and deep faith, my life began to reshape—and that journey ultimately led me to coaching. Along the way, I learned how to get unstuck, reconnect with what matters most, and move from merely surviving to truly thriving.
Today, I help others do the same. I walk alongside divorced individuals, neurodivergent adults, caregivers of a neurodivergent loved ones and professional teams or groups as they identify what’s holding them back, shift their mindset, and step into greater clarity, confidence, and purpose—so they can create meaningful growth in both life and work.
We all face challenges; there’s no avoiding them. What separates those who continue to grow and thrive from those who remain stuck and overwhelmed is the ability to recognize the barriers in their path and embrace the mindset shifts that build resilience and lasting change.
